HOW TO GET TO MY GOPENG RESORT

My Gopeng Resort is a nature resort situated in Ulu Geruntom, 7 KM from Gopeng Town.

Gopeng is a town located in Mukim Teja, District of Kampar, Perak, Malaysia. It is situated approximately 20 km south of Ipoh, the state capital.

The town is located on the west side of the North-South Expressway stretch of Tapah-Simpang Pulai. The limestone hills and the Titiwangsa Mountains are clearly visible; the expressway penetrates between them and the view of the Tapah-Gopeng stretch is one of the most picturesque areas on the west side of Peninsular Malaysia.

Due to its strategic location, locals are indeed very fortunate to have major towns approximately half an hour from Gopeng, Batu Gajah to the west, Ipoh to the north and Kampar at the south.

By Car

Wise choice! They are lots more to do with a car later.

From Kuala Lumpur, Singapore:

1. Take the Gopeng exit off the North-South Highway
2. At the Gopeng toll, take a right turn heading towards Gopeng town.
3. Take right turn at the Gopeng Bus Station, and go further to the town centre roundabout.
4. Turn right at the roundabout where the signboard is pointing.
5. You will be able to see sign boards of My Gopeng Resort along the roads.

 

From Penang:

1. Take the Simpang Pulai exit off the North-South Highway
2. At the Simpang Pulai toll, take a right turn heading towards Gopeng town.
3. Take left turn at the Gopeng Bus Station, and go further to the town centre roundabout.
4. Turn right at the roundabout where the signboard is pointing.
5. You will be able to see sign boards of My Gopeng Resort along the roads.

By Bus

Express bus services from various locations will generally pick and drop passengers in Gopeng, many of these express buses are en route to Kuala Lumpur, Singaporeand Penang to the north.

Taxi services are also available in Gopeng, they are stationed at the Gopeng Bus Station.

There are a number of local buses especially Sri Maju that leave for Gopeng from the intra-state Bus Station. Tell the driver you want to drop off at Gopeng Bus Station.

There are daily intercity bus services. The Kinta Omnibus runs between Kampar, Kota Baru Estate, Batu Gajah, Gopeng and the Ipoh Bus Station at Medan Kidd. There is only one known public bus commuter service in Gopeng.

The closest station will be Batu Gajah.

From here either grab a taxi or wait for an Omnibus leaving for Gopeng from the bus station. Tell the driver that you want to drop off at Gopeng Bus Station.
